Cats, pugs and döner kebabs.

Day 6 in Berlin and this is officially my first "breather" day. I've been insanely stressed busy and today was the first day that I "slept in" (till 9am heh). Here are some pictures from the past couple of days. A lot of animals and one tasty döner.

This is Tinka. Don't let her cute pose fool you, she is a natural hunter and 1000000X more cat like than my poor lazy Mooshie.
Ernie the pug trying to make friends. A lot of hissing followed this scene.
Gabe trying to calm Ernie down.

I wish we had these in Toronto

Hallo Berlinnnn!

So I'm still weirdly alive after my 18 hour trip. Alive enough to check up on this blog and post about it.

I just wanted to rave about the Bloorcourt Arts & Crafts Street Fair. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! A big shout out to Jen Anisef from Toronto Craft Alert. She was the one who invited me to the show! It ended up being a gorgeous sunny day (too sunny perhaps) and I loved hearing people's feedback and reactions. So if you're on this blog because you saw me at the fair then hello! Unfortunately I have to close my Etsy for the next two weeks because I am away but definitely check back after the 28th!

My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures! Ugh. I got too wrapped up in selling that I forgot to take any pictures :(  I was also upset to have to leave early but that was unavoidable. Overall it was a very fun show and I definitely hope to vend more in the future.

2!

My stamp finally arrived! It works so well, just see for yourself:

Here is also a sneak peak of what to expect at the Bloorcourt Arts & Craft fair.

Look at how nicely tagged everything is! I have Linda to thank for this.

All my in products will be at a discounted price for the day so be sure to check it out! I will also be holding a draw for a pair of earrings and my table will be stocked with cookies. Now who doesn't like cookies?

Ahhh I'm so excited for the next three days. Tomorrow I'm seeing Jeff Mangum (!!!!) and then Saturday is the fair and not to mention my flight to Berlin. Lets just hope it doesn't rain on Saturday.

Ever since Linda has been here I've been eating like a queen. Pesto shrimp pasta, Magnolia's famous bread pudding and now stromboli. Hmmm so tasty.

I used Use Real Butter's stromboli recipe and it turned out amazing. My version features homemade almond pesto, mushrooms, Spanish chorizo slices and mozzarella.

Off to make some necklaces and watch the Criminal Minds marathon now.

7!!

7 more days before the Arts & Craft Fair/Berlin! I am hustling to finish my my pieces in order to be prepared for the fair. I'm done with the earrings and just have the necklaces left!

Linda (my sister) and I went to an antique mall on Monday. This is what we ended up with:

We ended up painting it with some improvised paint (food colouring + water). The idea is to use this suitcase as a display prop at the fair.

I will leave you with this picture of Moosh pseudo sleeping. I can't even deal with her face:

10.

I'm going to be attending the Bloorcourt Arts & Crafts street fair on August 13th! It runs from 11am - 7pm but I will be there from start to 4pm and have my sister look after my table until 7pm. I am flying out on the same day so I have to run early but at least I will be able to partially attend. So for those of you in Toronto, you should drop by and say hi!
